The Joint Study of Rehabilitation in Australia Successfully Concluded

In early June, the warm sunset shines through a palette of flaming red, orange, and golden oak and maple leaves – it is the turn of autumn and winter in Australia.

The 18th World Congress of the International Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) was held in Sydney from 1st to 4th June, and at the same time, China Association of Non-Public Medical Institutions, Huayi Rehabilitation Research Institute and Aurora Healthcare Australia team jointly organized a week-long in-depth study tour of the Chinese Non-public Medical Association’s rehabilitation expert group.

This medical and health exchange delegation conducted an in-depth study tour of Australia’s rehabilitation medical system. The itinerary covered two major cities in Australia and three medical institutions under Aurora Healthcare, namely Westmead, Brunswick and South Western Private Hospitals. It brought the visiting expert group an in-depth, all-round and immersive experience of Australia’s rehabilitation system from macro to micro, and from basic scientific research to service implementation.

The tour drew China and Australia rehabilitation industry gurus, exploring multilateral cooperation for a shared tomorrow. By sharing resources and learning from each other, it provided inspiration and guidance for the future development of rehabilitation services. Through in-depth exchanges and sharing with local medical professionals, the China expert group gained a deeper understanding of the advantages and characteristics of Aurora’s rehabilitation service system, and also delved into the prospects for cooperation between China and Australia in the field of rehabilitation medicine.

In recent years, Huayi Rehabilitation Hospital and Huayi Rehabilitation Research Institute have frequently interacted in both clinical and academic aspects, and now have realized the normalization of exchanges between rehabilitation experts from China, Australia, and Japan, bringing together cutting-edge concepts, treatment technologies and case practices, exploring the integration of bone health and the localization of advanced overseas rehabilitation models, and promoting the development of domestic and regional rehabilitation industries.
