Management Forum: A Legacy of Passion Fuels the Future
At the culmination of its 30-year journey, Luye is ready to embark on yet another new chapter. How can the company maintain its commitment to innovation and internationalization? In this new era, how will it best leverage its past achievements and create new engines to propel its growth in the next 30 years? Luye COO Liang Yi, Executive VP of Luye Innovation Research Institute Tian Jingwei, Boan Biotech Chair Jiang Hua, and Patronus Biotech Chair Xue Yunli, offered their insights. They delved into critical topics including upgrading R&D, transforming marketing models, strategizing for the biopharmaceutical market, and advancing the vaccine pipeline. Each executive, drawing from their respective business perspective, painted a compelling picture of Luye’s future.
Chairman’s Address: Embrace Change and Forge Ahead
On the occasion of Luye Life Sciences’ 30th birthday, Mr. Liu Dianbo, Chairman of the Board, extended warm birthday wishes on behalf of the entire Board. He also expressed sincere gratitude to our customers, commercial partners, government agencies, and friends whose unwavering support has been instrumental in Luye’s journey. He then extended a heartfelt thank you to all Luye colleagues for three decades of unwavering commitment and remarkable achievements.
Chairman Liu, in his address, underscored the unique privilege of operating in a magnificent era full of opportunities. He pointed to China’s flourishing pharmaceutical industry and economic growth as testaments. He noted that Luye’s remarkable journey over the past three decades is defined by the pursuit of innovation and excellence, which has resulted in the creation of valuable products and services for both customers and society as a whole. Throughout this journey, Luye has adhered to its vision and mission, upheld its values, and steadfastly pursued innovation and internationalization. This has enabled it to evolve into a company with ideals, ambition, and social responsibility, while also being enterprising, open, and inclusive. The Luye spirit and culture cultivated during this process are our invaluable treasure.
Chairman Liu pointed out that, as a business organization, we must create value oriented to customers and the market, and make our enterprise stronger. We have to realize the cruelty of the market and competition, and always maintain a sense of crisis. We need to consistently provide quality products, develop better organization and management so that the business can grow in a truly healthy and sustainable way. We need to focus on businesses with core competencies, especially in areas where we have a competitive advantage, and fully implement strategic transformation.
Finally, Chairman Liu encouraged everyone: “We are still in a great era of life science industry. We should continue to carry forward the Luye spirit, work hard, innovate and change, and move forward with determination. I hope all Luye people can work together and join hands to realize a promising future”.
Luye Style Awards: the 30th Anniversary Celebration
811 employees who have joined Luye for 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years were awarded with Long Service Award. Just like the poem written on the award, “Green leaves decorate the tree, yellow leaves nourish the soil,” which represents the contribution of all Luye people.
Luye people have been forging ahead on a daunting road for 30 years. During this ceremony, Innovation Award, Endeavor Award, Management Elite Award, Special Contribution Award and Excellent Contribution Award were presented to those teams and individuals who have made great contributions to the company for the past 30 years. They chose to integrate their personal career into Luye’s development with an indomitable spirit of hard work, constantly exploring and striving to lead the team toward the goal, and to promote Luye’s development with great determination.
