Spring in Australia falls between the months of October and December, so now it is the best season for workout outdoors and embarking on some wonderful new journeys.
Robina Private Hospital team recently participated in “Walk for Mental Health”, an initiative of Mental Health Foundation Australia, and raised over AU$1,000 for education and mental health support services; while Deakin Private Hospital took part in “One Food Forward” and walked for mental health research, raising AU$4,424 for the Black Dog Institute.
The charity walks provided an opportunity for our teams to raise awareness and advocate for mental health and goals.
Deakin Private Hospital embarked on a new fundraising mission “Choccie Sale”, a labour of love to raise essential funds for Emerge & See to help with the invisible wounds of our selfless emergency service workers and their families, grappling with the heavy burden of PTSD.
In Hills Clinic’s recent executive strategic planning session, the team coined its new tagline “Creating Change Together” to emphase the significance of collaborative change.
Never forget, championing mental health is a shared endeavour. With our small contribution, we stand shoulder to shoulder with the people and extend a helping hand to them. Together, we are making a difference!
