World Mental Health Day Highlights | We Have Come to Love, and With Love We Go Further

10th October is World Mental Health Day, a day to raise awareness about mental health issues, encourage open conversations, and promote actions that improve mental wellbeing. It serves as a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health, and it affects everyone, no matter where they live, work, or study. On this day, the global mental health team of Luye Medical, as always, shared the warmth of love and responsibility in caring for hearts.

Take responsibility and empower growth

In China, the theme of this year’s events is “Co-construction, co-governance and sharing, and work together for health and peace of mind”. Mindfront Health has set this day as “Psychotherapist’s Day”, gathering psychological practitioners to bring wonderful sharing and discussion.

During the mental health workshop hosted by consultant expert Chen Zhikang, Medical Director Yue Ying, and Lin Guangyao, the business director of the Children and Youth Development Center, shared their unique insights in mental health, pointed out the importance of group collaboration, and emphasized the concept of mental health services provided by Mindfront Health to patients. Li Ruixuan from the Strategy Department also shared the strategic cooperation projects and development trends of Mindfront Academy.

The sharing session, filled with hands-on experience, insights, treatment ideas and techniques, was followed by a relaxing tea break including snack and wine tasting, which allowed the participants to bond and network.

Willie Ding, Vice President of Operations, extended his greetings: “Mental health professionals care for others on a daily basis and give a lot of energy to our visitors. I hope that in the big family of Mindfront Health, we can create a good atmosphere for you so that everyone can also be seen, cared for and loved.”

Connect for mental health and spread love

In Aurora Healthcare sites across Australia, our patients, staff and volunteers have connected for mental health, enjoyed many incredible activities and experiences throughout the month. Here’s how our activities help our patients connect in meaningful ways:

We believe that a healthy workplace is one that values both productivity and play, where we find our values and help others to find happiness. With smiles all around, our staff members reminded each other to pause, manage stress, and support well-being through fun activities and educational sessions.

Patients and staff at Robina Private Hospital enjoyed many incredible activities and experiences throughout the Queensland Mental Health Week, embodying this year’s theme, “Connect for mental health”.

Belmont Private Hospital commenced the Mental Health Day celebration with the launch of its famous Annual Art Show, Music and Afternoon Tea, and then connected and mingled with the community through music from the Corrugated Iron Shedders Band from Carina’s Men shed and the love language of food by sharing a BBQ and Slushie’s with Staff, VMOs, patients and students.

In the bright sunshine, visitors experienced animal-assisted therapy, which can help with many issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma and eating disorders.

For visitors, the profession of psychological practitioners is special – they foster connections and enhance inclusivity for those living with mental health challenges, their families, carers and support people. For our organization, business growth and progress are inseparable from the professionalism and trust of the professional team. Thank you for your support and companionship along the way, and let’s keep working together to better meet the growing mental health service needs of visitors.
