8th March marked International Women’s Day, a lovely day full of celebration here and there, including a surprise in our offices.
On the day, the incredible ladies at Luye Medical, which account for more than half of our employees, also received many compliments from each other through the “We Recognition” Programme.
267 recognition cards, together with gifts or tea packs, appeared on female colleagues’ workstations in the morning. The blessings were collected a week prior to the day to celebrate each other’s success.
The recognition cards represent affirmation, trust, and support from the team.
The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is “Embrace Equity”, which is also the theme we have always been practicing in our organization. In Singapore office, ladies and gentlemen who support the ladies to work in a friendly and positive environment, wrote about their understanding of the subject.
For female medical workers – doctors, nurses, allied health, administrative, and support teams, selfless work is the norm. Even on Women’s Day, they were busy at work, serving patients with the belief of “Passionate for Life”.
By showing love and care, we wanted to remind our female colleagues to take care of themselves and remember to be beautiful in mind, body, and soul.
A woman is like a star, born to shine. Her light allows others to glow too. Together we can shine brightly, and we heal the world.
