2022 has been a very fruitful year for Luye Medical China team. During the past year, Luye Medical colleagues across China connected with each other and stood together through in-depth communication online and offline, fun activities such as employee sharing lectures, book clubs, “Shall we chat” discussions, and We-recognition, greatly enhanced mutual understanding and trust.
As we embark on a new year, Luye Medical China team joined a two-day journey in Yantai and online, sharing joys and gains of 2022, and expecting for a blooming 2023.
On the morning of 9th January, a cultural tour of Luye Medical China’s management team kicked off in Yantai. Accompanied by local colleagues, over 60 people visited the various business segments of the Group, including the R&D centre and biological laboratory of the Science and Technology Park, hospitals, and Luye International Pharmaceutical Industrial Park. The visit enabled the team to comprehend the Group’s history and development easily and encouraged everyone to fulfill our commission “Passionate for Life” through cutting-edge technology, continuous research, high-quality products and excellent services.
The afternoon was a combination of life stories sharing mindfulness, art healing and co-creation – from a professional and warm mental health perceptive. After a mindfulness led by Cui Yiyun, Psychiatrist and Music Therapist of Mindfront Health, everyone’s mind, body, and spirit got more focused, and resulted in the composition of a team song – “Our Song 2022”.
A chill night talk by the fireplace let the team open up and engage in great conversations that would not happen so easily in the workplace. Mr. Liu Dianbo, Chairman of Luye Life Sciences Group also joined dialogue. He reviewed the development of the Group in the past three decades, and pointed out that customer-oriented, market-oriented thinking runs through all aspects of business, affecting the service quality and business results. Now we are in a dynamic and unpredictable business environment, and therefore execution is one of our one of our highest priorities. Looking ahead, we are supposed to set long-term goals, follow the market development, adhere to reasonable resource allocation, provide differentiated and high-quality services to the market, and achieve stable business development in the long run.
We were delighted to have a special guest – Ms. Xia Lian, Founder of Visionary Education, executive coach, former Assistant Dean of Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, Independent Director of Anta and Shanying International sharing her work and life insights and joining the fireside chat with the team. She said: “In a changing environment, everyone is breaking himself down and building himself up. And we, as leaders, can maintain an optimistic and positive attitude when encountering challenges.” She also encouraged the team with Tagore’s poem Influence life with life – Live yourself as a light / Because you don’t know / Who by thy light / Out of the darkness / Keep the goodness in your heart / Because you don’t know / Who would take advantage of your kindness / Out of despair.
Day Two started with meditation in the early morning. The theme of the day’s events was “Heart”: the “Concentration” session focused on the business performance; “Unity” called on all the management to discuss cross-business collaboration; and all representatives carried out their 2023 outlook in the “Confidence” session, looking forward striving and thriving in the new year.
A long-waited reunion of all Medicalstaff was held in the afternoon in Yantai and online. The conference “Free of Fear” focused on “3L” (Love, Life, Longevity) and comprised four chapters.
In the first chapter “Heart – Calm Down and Find yourself”, colleagues drew freely in relaxing music under the guidance of music therapist to feel the present, develop a sense of self-awareness, self-exploration, and self-growth.
The second chapter was “Efforts – I Am Happy I Have Tried My Best”. By watching a video of our milestones and unforgettable moments, everyone reviewed the year 2022. And then, Luye Medical Group’s annual HR Handbook “Love” was released.
The third chapter “Joy – We Are Happier When We Work Together”, a number of awards were presented to acknowledge the colleagues’ outstanding achievements and accomplishments, leadership, teamwork, charitable contribution and healthy lifestyles.
In a warm and festive atmosphere, the fourth chapter “New Year, New Dream” started with a big photomosaic “Our 2022”. In photography, as in life and work, there is collaboration. The photo consisting of over 100 photos collected from colleagues across China marked some moments of joy and challenges we experienced together in the unforgettable year 2022. We believe in 2023 we will have more wonderful moments.
Ms. Liu Aona, Executive Chairperson of Luye Medical Group made a summary of the 2-day events and business highlights in 2022. She expressed her gratitude to all the colleagues for their contributions, and emphasized that in the future, we must continue to focus on collaboration and cooperation, learn from each other; and concentrate on our core business. In the face of sudden changes in the external environment, we dare to discover new opportunities with sharp business acumen and make long-term, sustainable development. That is the way we can better serve our target customers and markets, and in the meantime, realizing our business and personal value.
In her previous new year greetings, she said: “In Chinese, ‘2’ sounds like ‘love’. Looking back at the year 2022, we have gone through an unforgettable trip full of love. With our loving hearts and helping hands, we kept supporting others and improving ourselves. Thank you for accompanying each other. To all our loved ones, who stood by our side this year, we wish you a new year full of blessings, may it overflow with love and hope.”
The two-day in-depth communication provided a platform for everyone to be seen and heard, making Luyers from different cities and business sectors familiar with each other. Saying goodbye to 2022, we feel so motivated and inspired that we are ready for a more fulfilling 2023!
