Robina Private Hospital Proud to Be Part of Australian Dementia Network

In Australia, dementia is a major and growing health issue. An estimated 459,000 people are living with dementia and this number is growing by about 250 persons each day.

Australian Dementia Network (ADNet) brings together Australia’s leading researchers from 17 different institutions as well as many clinicians and consumers to create a powerful network for dementia prevention, treatment and care.

Robina Private Hospital Memory Clinic is proud to be one of the ADNet affiliated Memory Clinics, and it aims to improve access to dementia prevention treatment and support for people struggling with dementia.

Recently, Robina Private Hospital and the Gold Coast Geriatricians and Old Age Psychiatrists Collaborative Interest Group hosted ADNet at an Educational Dinner Meeting with speakers from the ADNet Memory Clinic Initiative – Prof. Sharon Naismith, a clinical neuropsychologist of Robina Private Hospital and Dr. Inga Mehrani from ADNet.
